Electronic Databases for VDS/GDR Alumni
We have long received requests from alums about whether you can access the library databases, but unfortunately, the vast majority of databases licensed do not permit allowing access beyond faculty, staff, students and other on-campus users. The Divinity Library is pleased to be able to offer to VDS and GDR alumni access to the ATLASerials (ATLAS) full text periodicals database. This is a licensed database, and while access to alums is free, you will need to register as a user, and will need to use your assigned username and password to enter the database. Clicking on the link above for Electronic Databases for VDS/GDR Alumni, will display a page with the handful of non-restricted resources the library can offer off-campus, plus the ATLAS database. The ATLAS database is the only link for which you will be asked for a username and password. Click HERE to go to the Alumni Electronic Databases Page. |

Kesler @ Vanderbilt Divinity Library For clergy and full-time church workers who are not close to a theological library, the mail delivery service of the Kesler service may prove to be useful. Alumni living far enough away from Nashville that your alumni borrowing privileges aren't realistic to use, you may want to register as a Kesler member. Please note that our automated circulation system only allows us to define a patron in one category. You can have an active alumni patron account, or you can be a Kesler patron, but not both. Activating a Kesler account will mean if you happen to be on campus, you will not have an active alumni card to be able to check out books on site.
